Yllätyskortti ystävälle / Surprise card for Friend

Kokeilin tänään ensimmäistä kertaa ns. pull-out korttia, eli korttia, jossa osa kortista on piilossa ulos vedettävän osan alla. Samanlaista tekniikkaa on mm. lasten kirjoissa. Ensimmäisestä kokeilusta tuli hyvin yksinkertainen, veneaiheinen kortti. Sitten ymmärsin kortin tekniikan tuomat monet mahdollisuudet ja tein hieman hienostuneemman ystävänpäiväkortin, jossa perhonen ikään kuin lentää ylös paljastaen tekstin Ystävälle.

Laitan tähän myös pari kuvaa, joista ilmenee kortin rakenne. Tämä on hyvin helppo kortti valmistaa ja sopii moneen eri teemaan :)

Today I made so called pull out cards which are fun and easy to make. The idea is that one part of the card is hidden by piece of paper which can be pulled out. This reveals hidden text. The same technique has been widely used in children books and in cards as well. My first trial was very simple boat themed card. After this I understood many opportunities of this technique and so I made a little bit sophisticated card for a friend. The butterfly "flies" away and reveals a test "For a Friend".
